Before the solo competition era of breaking, it was all about repping with your crew – K-mel and Megas for Boogie Brats, Swift Rock and Storm for Battle Squad, Ayumi and Narumi for Body Carnival. Knowing you got someone at your back gives you an inner confidence pushes you both reach new levels.
In today’s Knowledge Drop, I want to talk about some of breaking history’s greatest dynamic duos, and some old cypher footage of Hat Solo and me wrecking it at Circle Kings together. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him. I always think of this African proverb:
