Why Breakers Need To Study EVO’s Raw Style

There’s not many b-boys that redefined breaking to me the way that B-boy EVO did.

In Battle of The Year 1997, he threw down a judges’ showcase that was swift, effortless, and raw.

A lot of b-boys & b-girls nowadays are changing the game with their powermoves and tricks, but when it comes to having raw styles, B-boy EVO is someone I come back to. He reminds me that it’s not what you do, it’s about how you do it.

To show you what I’m talking about, I share the first time I saw B-boy EVO in today’s Knowledge Drop.
